Waterfall
Single Release
Waterfall is a composition for classical solo guitar inspired by a trip to the mountains in Madagascar. The playful nature of a small mountain stream evoked this music in me. Fast but softly performed arpeggios reflect the shimmering water setting a background for the melody in the mid and lower register. The music breathes a life-affirming attitude and listening or performing it always brings me back to this place and its spiritual force.

Soundtrack Album
Der Soundtrack für Der Russe ist einer der Birken liebt wurde 2022 veröffentlicht zuerst als EP veröffentlicht. Als Solisten sind zu hören Derya Yildirim (Vocals, Egit) und Johannes Repka (Piano, Mandoline, Oud). Der Film wurde 2022 beim Filmfest München uraufgeführt. Der Track Layli, gesungen von Meryem Moutaoukkil, wurde neben Johannes Repka auch von Alessandro Trebo produziert. Der feine Club Track Shadows in the Air ist von dem Künstler NIJU. Goldkeller und Schwingungen sind Tracks von Joe Masi.
The soundtrack was a poetic journey together with the director Pola Beck and the wonderful film team. Truly one of my favorite releases yet. The score with toughfuly tracks, like a sliver of light, contrasted by driving clubtracks feat. songs from the fine artists like NIJU, Aylin Tezel, Meryem and Joe Masi. The single Söyleyin Neden from Derya Yildirm and me released in november and already gained over 45.000 streams in two month. Thank you everybody for the support.
