Waterfall is a composition for classical solo guitar inspired by a trip to the mountains in Madagascar. The playful nature of a small mountain stream evoked this music in me. Fast but softly performed arpeggios reflect the shimmering water setting a background for the melody in the mid and lower register. The music breathes a life-affirming attitude and listening or performing it always brings me back to this place and its spiritual force.
